It has invented drip irrigation and water desalination solutions which have not only helped the Country to thrive and grow, but have helped countries throughout the Developing World. Israeli innovations are leading the fight against Parkison’s disease and multiple sclerosis and developed the Re-Walk system which has enabled paraplegic trauma victims to walk again.
Israel has become a global tech leader; investors are flocking to Israel in order to find opportunities, as Israeli entrepreneurs drive innovation and push technology to its limits.
According to Forbes, The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange lists 616 companies, one public company for every 12,500 citizens. The U.S. has one public company for every 47,000 people.
What has driven the population to achieve such World leading success?
Many Israelis, such as Dov Moran, inventor of the USB stick, will say it is skills developed in the Israeli Defence Forces where future entrepreneurs with the develop a wide suite of skills and learn responsibility in an environment where tenacity and intelligence are prized.
